Wenonah Prospector 16 Canoe - T-Formex

Product Information Product Info
With its classic Prospector design, this boat is known as the workhorse of the North, and it really lives up to that! This boat will take you, your co-pilot and a load of kit on almost any water you can throw at it.
Its hull is both stable and quick-turning, so that you need not compromise that feeling of security or fantastic manoeuvrability. The Prospector 16 has it all!
The ample rocker will see you glide down rivers and streams, and even help if you do a bit of calm sea paddling!
If you ever want a trip without a paddling buddy, the Wenonah Prospector 16 also makes an excellent solo canoe. Due to its symmetrical shape, you can easily sit backwards on the bow seat to be in a strong position to paddle solo. Equally, the length of the Prospector 16 allows for the possibility of installing a kneeling thwart.
Whilst the boat comes alive on rivers and streams, it is also a joy to paddle on flat water, tracking beautifully through any lake or canal.

T-Formex
Replacing royalex, T-Formex consists of multi-laminate sheets, painstakingly designed specifically for each model. At the centre of the material is a closed-cell, rigid foam core, that makes the canoe more buoyant, and gives a more sturdy and durable structure.
T-Formex boats are some of the toughest on the market, making them a great choice for whitewater paddlers, families, expedition goers, and sportspeople. Perhaps most significantly, though, T-Formex is almost as light a royalex was, creating a boat that feels light through the water, and is easy to portage. Evidence to date also indicates that it is more robust than royalex.
